JAYE TO JAYE KAHAN

Strangely while our FM is high on our country's growth rate, I am surprised to find that lots and lots of small and medium scale industries our finding it hard to survive. Take the cloth market. Most of the small scale manufacturers who were running their factories day in and day out are on the verge of collapse. REASON: HIGHER RUPEE MEANS LESSER COMPETITIVENESS.Even Bangladesh is beating us? The manufaturers and the wholesalers are moving towards DALAL STREET. Same is the case with Diamond Traders. People in PANCHRATNA are alredy fully involved in share market. The steel market ( I mean the SSIs mfg. utensils ) are unable to compete with china which sale their finished goods at the rate the steel mkt. people purchase their raw material. RESULT : Most of the manufacturers are spending their time from 10.00 to 11.00 and 2.30 PM to 3.30 PM on BOLTS. Associated companies are also following the same pattern. The mantra is EITHER YOU GROW BIG OR PERISH. But the essence of indian economy lies in being small. Be it small farmers ( who are left with only one option : SUICIDE), OR small shopkeepers (MALLS are eating into their business), OR a small time manufacturer. The retail inflation is around 8-9 %..though our FM might strongly deny this. So, there is no use of putting your money @8% in banks or PPFs or KVPs or P.O.. As for the dalal street you can mint money or perish. The later being the end result in most of the cases. Mr. FM should take care of all these foundations of indian economy or we may sink earlier then the americans.
