Recent scenario has made me wonder how fast we are changing as a society. The ways and reasons for protesting have changed considerably.

Earlier we used to protest:

ANGREZO…BHARAT CHHODO

NOW:

NORTH INDIANS…MAHARSHTRA CHHODO

The ways of protest has also changed.

Earlier it was:

Non co-operation and non-violence

Now:

Burning buses, thrashing people.

And why we protest:

Earlier it was:

The Englishmen were ruling us.

Now:

The other Indians are able to work harder.

Earlier we used to protest against the films that showed nudity.

Now we protest against the films without even seeing them.

Earlier we were filing cases against criminals and robbers.

Now we are busy filing cases against film actors and sportspersons.

Earlier our concerns were:

Rising population, inflation, poverty and unemployment, child’s marriage, rising prices

Now our concerns are:

Rising Sania’s skirt, Jodha Akbar, Aamir's movie, Bachchan’s school, not reserving a particular caste or religion. Indian team losing a cricket match....

PATA NAHI AUR KITNA BADLENGE?
